Joomla 4.1.5 & 3.10.10 are now available. This is a bug fix release for both the 4.x and the 3.x series of Joomla, containing various bug fixes and improvements. This will be the last release in the 4.1 series. Now the focus shifts to making 4.2 stable.

Αναβαθμίστηκε το site στην τελευταία έκδοση του CMS (Joomla! 3.10.12)

The Joomla! Project is pleased to announce the release of Joomla 4.3.3 and 3.10.12 This is a bug fix release for the 4.x and 3.x series of Joomla.

What’s shipped with 3.10.12?

Within this release, we update the cacert.pem files shipped with the core and bump the version number. Those files are used to check SSL certificates depending on the host setup and should be as up-to-date as possible. Given that 4.3.4 would be released after the communicated EOS of 3.10, this release has been done together with 4.3.3

This is a planned release of Joomla 3.10 that ensures the certificate files bundled within the core (`cacert.pem`) used on some sites to verify SSL connections are up-to-date and not significantly out of date by the EOS of Joomla 3.10. Additionally, the version of the CMS will be bumped to 3.10.12.

As mentioned above, there are only two changes included in this release:

- Updating the `cacert.pem` files to the latest version available at the time of the release.

- Bumping the CMS version to 3.10.12

Αναμένουμε να κυκλοφορήσουν κάποια components για την έκδοση 4.Χ και όταν όλα είναι συμβατά με τη νέα έκδοση τότε θα προχωρήσουμε και σε αναβάθμιση στην Joomla 4.X

Πραγματοποιήθηκε επιτυχώς μεταφορά του website σε νέο server ο οποίος είναι πιο καλός και πιο γρήγορος από τον προηγούμενο.

Το subdomain μας (gatherings.retrocomputers.gr) εμπλουτίστηκε και με όλες τις συναντήσεις των μελών μας!

Έτσι εκτός από όλες τις εκθέσεις μας, μπορείτε πλέον να δείτε με ένα κλικ και όλες τις συναντήσεις μας - από την πρώτη μέχρι την πιο πρόσφατη - με τον ίδιο τρόπο, έχοντας πρόσβαση σε όλο το φωτογραφικό υλικό / βίντεο / ποστ στο φόρουμ της αντίστοιχης έκθεσης ή συνάντησης.

Σας ενημερώνουμε ότι στο subdomain μας (gatherings.retrocomputers.gr) όλες οι φωτογραφίες των εκθέσεων μας αλλά και των συναντήσεών μας μεταφέρθηκαν από το χώρο φιλοξενίας του site (που ήταν όλο αυτό το διάστημα) στο Google Photos.

Με αυτή την κίνηση αποδεσμεύτηκε τεράστιος χώρος από το subdomain μας (περίπου 7GB !!!), οι φωτογραφίες ανοίγουν γρηγορότερα από πριν αφού είναι στο server της Google, αλλά και το site έγινε γρηγορότερο αφού μειώθηκε το μέγεθος των αρχείων αλλά και της βάσης δεδομένων αφού όπως προανέφερα μειώθηκε κατά 7GB περίπου συν τεράστια μείωση και στις εγγραφές της βάσης δεδομένων που παρέπεμπαν σε κάθε φωτογραφία ξεχωριστά (και οι φωτογραφίες ήταν χιλιάδες).
